quick facts

Well my name is Sarah, I'm 16 years old, I was born on December 23, and I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. I'm tall at 5' 10" and I have blue eyes, brown hair, light skin, and freckles that are mostly on my face. My main loves are my boyfriend, listening to music, chillen with friends & partying. Some of my main hates are spiders, liars, fakes, being sick & any type of bad smell. I'm currently completing gr.12 and when I graduate I plan on taking a year off to work and travel. After that I'll be going to University to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and I'll be working for about ten or more years as that. Then I'll be returning to University yet again to become a Nurse Practitioner (RNP).

traumatizing

- I'm arachnophobic because of a summer camp I went to. I was on the top bunk reading my book while everyone was playing some lame card game down on the floor of our cabin when something caught my eye behind my book on the ceiling about 4 feet directly above me. I ignored it but it kept moving and I started getting really curious so I moved my book from my face and looked up at a HUGE DOCK SPIDER! For those of you that don't know what kind of spider they are, dock spiders can range in size from your thumb nail to as big as a soccer ball - that's not even including their legs. They usually live around docks or sheds/cabins near the lake which is how they got their name. How this size of a spider got into our cabin unnoticeably is beyond me, but it did and it was just sitting there on the ceiling 4 feet directly above me and it could have just let go and fell on me at ANY TIME. So anyway, I realized what it was (a dock spider about the size of my head at the time, I was 12) and I totally freaked out. I jumped off my bunk screaming right into the middle of their card game on the floor and everyone looked at me like I had taken drugs or something. I pointed at the huge spider and the cabin turned into complete mayhem in about 0.3 seconds, keeping in mind the cabin consisted of seven 12 year old girls and one 20-something counsellor. The counsellor later on got the thing outside and after 10 minutes of mayhem everything calmed down, and that's why I'm an arachnophobic.
